The rules

• Rank is decided by confirmed paid amount. Higher total, higher rank. If two brands are tied, the one that reached that amount first stays on top.
• One brand per keyword. A brand is identified by its website. Claim again and the new amount is added to your existing total — you only ever pay the difference to move up.
• Beating a position costs at least $1 more than the brand you are passing. The bid panel does this math for you in real time.

• Nothing goes live before payment is confirmed. Opening checkout or returning from it changes nothing. Only a confirmed payment publishes a claim — which also means the position you were shown before paying is a projection, not a guarantee. If someone pays more while you are at checkout, the board settles strictly by amount and your success page shows the real result.
• The Today board resets at 00:00 UTC. It ranks what each brand paid since the reset. One payment counts on both boards — you can be #14 All Time and #1 Today.
• Your badge is live. It renders your current rank every time it loads, links back to the board, and never needs to be updated.
• You will be told when you are outclaimed. The email shows your previous and current position, who passed you, and the exact amount that takes your spot back.
• Keywords are limited on purpose. Twenty boards at launch, every one starting at $10. New keywords arrive in drops, so every board stays crowded.

Why brands claim

A position is rank, status, visibility, a logo and link in front of everyone watching the keyword, a badge on your own site, a shareable result — and the satisfaction of being above a competitor who now has to pay to pass you.

Refunds

Claims are one-time, non-refundable payments for a ranking position at the time of payment. Positions can be outclaimed at any time; that is the game. Listings that break the terms are removed.
